2025–2026 Year in Review

The Rotary Club of Sebastopol experienced an exceptional year of service, fellowship, and growth as we embraced Rotary International's theme, "Unite for Good." Together, our members strengthened our impact both locally and globally while creating a fun, welcoming club culture that encouraged connection and service.

Our club was honored with District 5130 Awards for Club of the Year, Community Service, International Service, Club Service, Youth Service, and Public Image, recognizing the dedication and passion of our members throughout the year.

Serving Our Community

From teacher grants and scholarships to community improvement projects, our members continued to make a meaningful difference throughout West County. We supported the Mark Sell Teacher Grant Program, Learn-to-Swim Program, Overcoming Obstacles Scholarships, Cool Kids Camp, Adopt-a-Family, and numerous volunteer projects including park improvements, environmental cleanups, and accessibility projects. We also advanced planning for our Centennial Legacy Project at Ives Park.

Making a Global Impact

International service remained a cornerstone of our club. Members participated in Rotary Foundation initiatives, supported global grant projects in Uganda, Ukraine, and Mexico, contributed supplies to children's programs, and continued partnerships that improve education, healthcare, and quality of life around the world.

Investing in Youth

Our commitment to youth continued through sponsorship of three Interact Clubs, scholarships for graduating seniors, RYLA participation, recognition of outstanding students through our Overcoming Obstacles program, and the dedication of Peace Poles at local schools, reinforcing Rotary's commitment to peace and service.

Strengthening Our Club

This year we welcomed eight new members, created an even more engaging and welcoming meeting atmosphere, expanded fellowship opportunities, and celebrated the unique gifts and talents of every member. Through fun meetings, meaningful programs, and strong leadership, our club continued to build lasting friendships while remaining focused on Service Above Self.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate another remarkable year, we are grateful for the generosity, enthusiasm, and servant hearts of our members, partners, and community. Together we demonstrated that when people unite around a common purpose, extraordinary things happen. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue changing lives—one project, one partnership, and one act of service at a time.
